30th Anniversary

Below is what the Pastor wrote to his wife on their Thirtieth Year Anniversary: 

 “AS YOU LOOK UPON THESE ROSES, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT SOME ARE LONG AND SOME ARE SHORT.  THIS REMINDS ME OF THE GOOD DAYS AND THE DAYS THAT WERE GOOD AND I DIDN’T REALIZE THEM:  BUT GOD MADE ME TO KNOW THAT HE (GOD) DOES NOT GIVE ME BAD DAYS.  THE LITTLE WHITE TEAR DROPS ARE THERE TO REMIND ME THAT THROUGH HIS DEVINE GRACE AND MERCIES WE MADE THESE THIRTY YEARS…..BUT YOU KNOW THESE FLOWERS WILL ONLY LAST FOR A MOMENT AND THEY ARE GONE.  THIS COLOR ALSO REMINDS ME OF THE BLOOD THAT JESUS SHADED ON CALVARY THAT GAVE US A RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE”.
